Dear Niharika,

I hope this letter finds you well. It feels so good to be writing to you after all these ages. How is everything at your end? You just disappeared after school!

It was only when I got chatting with my co-passenger on a flight recently that I discovered he happens to be your fiancé. You can imagine my delight! I then went on to narrate all our escapades in school and college. He had the heartiest laugh ever! Congratulations on your engagement! Its wonderful news, and Murad seems nice. I’m so happy for you! What else has been happening? Do fill me in.

How is Delhi treating you? How are uncle and aunty? I must admit I never imagined you would do law but hey, that’s the thing about life. You never know what’s lying in store for u. It’s good to know you haven’t given up your photography assignments. Remember how we always said you’d be a photographer some day? Sakshi, Meha and Aditya are also in Gurgaon. Are you all in touch? We ought to plan a re-union at some place that will be convenient for the whole gang.

I’m presently at Bombay, been busy with my Social Communication Media course at Sophia’s. It’s been fun as it’s what I’ve always wanted to do. I recently went to the Sunderbans for a photography assignment, and what an experience that was! You know how tigers have always fascinated me, right? I will hopefully be coming to Delhi in November , it will be wonderful to catch up with you. Its been 6 long years , but that doesn’t change anything .
