Letter

Dear Anne,
It’s been a really long time since we’ve met or even spoken to each other. If you remember, we both did our 11th and 12th from Swami Vivekananda Junior College. While you were doing science and me arts, we always made sure we had time for each other.
I still remember times we travelled by bus, early in the morning. We used to run to catch the train and many a time missed it too! I loved the chats we had while we travelled to and from college. You must remember Varsha, Neeta and Pooja.
I heard from your Dad, that you had taken up Engineering and were doing a course in Pune. I have not lost touch with your family. Let me know where and what you are doing now. As for me, after completing my 12th , I joined SIES College in Nerul to do the Mass Media course (BMM). I am now doing my post graduation in Social Communications Media from Sophia Polytechnic College.
After you left to do your course, I had joined Shiamak Davar classes twice and did one summer funk show too! I know you really enjoyed these things and wished you and I could do them together. I joined a gym and started yoga sessions too.
Congratulations for getting into the course in Pune. You always used to be the topper in your class! I’m really happy for you.
I’m staying at the Sophia Polytechnic hostel in Breachcandy, Mumbai. Its the first time that I am away from home and am making new friends herein class as well as at the hostel. I am very happy to have got the opportunity to do this course.
We can meet up in the near future to catch up and re-live those wonderful days we had together.
