Dear Mansha,
Remember Poonam? Hey I know we cannot forget each other as we have spent some of our really good times together. If I remember we know each other since we started playing with Barbies. I know it’s been five long years that we are not in touch. And I believe it all happened because of long distance, as you left Patna and settled in New Delhi. Staying together in the same society was so much fun, also majorly because we were in the same class though different schools. But when I recall our sweet memories of terrace, group studies, gossips, playing games, and many more I just cannot control my smile. I know we both have moved out to our new life and busy with it. But in our robotic life we forgot to even update our selves. There was time when we used to share our every single day and every single hour and now it’s been five long years that we are not in touch. Time changes, priority changes but thank God friends do not change. I hope you are still the same cute bubbly girl with a cute smile on face all time.
You must be wondering why all of sudden I am writing you a letter. Well it was an assignment given to me in college. And I really thanks to my teacher who gave this assignment as I could take time to get in touch with you and recall all our sweet memories.
Well I would love to update you about my past five years so that we get back to the same mode and flow of friendship. When you left Patna after completing 12th board exams, I joined Patna Women’s college for my graduation in Bachelors of Mass Communication. I made really good friends there and got a lot of exposure through various trainings of my course. During the course I went to Kolkata and Delhi for my trainings. After my graduation I had one and a half years of work experience at Filaments visual effects, Patna. I really had a great time working there. I made some very close friends too, who are now part of my life. The big news is that my sister Preeti di got married in December 2009. And I shifted to Mumbai this year for my post graduate studies from Sophia College. I am putting up in a college hostel. It’s really good, girls are here from all corner of India, and all of them are really nice. I miss home sometimes as for the first time I left my hometown. Rest is all good, I am curious to get the update from your side as well. I hope now we do not loose contacts and be in touch forever.
At last I would love to say that “we make so many friends..some become Dearest..some become Special...some go abroad..some change their cities..some left us...we left some..some don’t contact because of their ego..we don’t contact some because of our ego...whatever they were..however they are..I still remember, love, and miss them.......
Take care and be in touch.
Waiting for your reply.
Poonam.
