Dear Alice,

How are you? Hope you and your family are doing well. We are all good here.

Just the other day I was going through my diary when I found your picture and a diary entry about you in it. I was immediately taken back to the good old days we shared when we were in school. I also remembered the first time we meet in school and at that moment I knew for sure that we would become close friends. I will never forget your kind gesture of offering me a seat in class on the first day of school. Amidst all the new and unfamiliar faces in the classroom your face was welcoming and warm which drew me towards you.

Since you migrated to the states we haven’t been able to keep in touch due to our hectic schedules. I truly regret the time we have lost and the many occasions we haven’t been there for each other. So, I though I should write to you and tell you what I have been up to.

It’s with great pleasure that I inform you that I graduated in Bachelor of Mass Media specializing in Advertising with a distinction and I have also secured admission at Sophia College to pursue my post graduation in Social Communications and Media.

You won’t believe my twin sister is perusing law. She decided this all by herself and it came to us as a great surprise. She is working really hard and doing pretty well.

Mom is busy with work. She has supported me in my every endeavour and has been my pillar of strength and my guide.
